I am more about Sears and SuperTarget, and with the Target card I get 1 point for every dollar spent there, half point for everywhere else. Every 1000points I get 10% off qualifying merchandise there, it works out well because I grocery shop@Target.

I live in a small town college town and they are the only place to get some of the things you need.

I prefer Target and/or Costco, usually the stores are much cleaner. I've only been to a few walmarts, but the place seems dirty, and they don't have enough people on staff to clean up piles of picked over junk.

I'm guessing the OP is hinting at something about buying from an "Anti-Union" or perhaps "Anti American" store.

Dont get me wrong, I support American labor and prefer to buy american made stuff. But if somone has to rely on Union thugs controlling an entire industry instead of good old fashion competition to make a living, its thier own damn fault if they lose thier jobs.

price and convenience.

Also, I don't see Wal Mart as bad at all. Bad compared to what, all the other mega sized stores I could go to instead. There is no such thing as Ma and Pop where I come from, it's either Wal Mart, Target, or some big chain grocery store and dey all the same except Wal Mart is cheaper.

I just want to hear, that is all.

Thank you.

I'd like to know what you think the OP says about walmart. I like China? Well, were can you go to buy cloths in the USA? Every company down to levi has outsourced itself to the big machine. Sorry, unless your super rich your not likely to see "MADE IN THE USA" on anything these days be it SEARS, TARGET, JCPENNY, MACYS, etc...etc...

I don't shop at walmart since they don't make cloths that fit me for one. 2, I can usually find better deals at safeway / albertsons for food and drinks... Altho, I have walked in to the 24hr stores to buy batteries or some other small items that no one else would have at 3AM.

Not really...but a lot of it is location. Being cheap college student I look for the best deals, and I don't have a car. so when I want food I go to costco with my friend. When I need something outside of "Ulra jumbo size" I go to target with a friend. When i need something REALLLY cheap I go to the 99 cent store or something...Wal-Mart just isn't around.
But if it was I would probably try to avoid it. I have nothing against China~ in fact i'm preparing in case China does rise up and we start to get dwarfed in every but with militarily But at the same time I do beleive a lot of the practices are unfair and wrong.

Besides, there are MANY places you can get cheap stuff...ESPECIALLY clothing. It is called looking around, and if a guy doesn't want to browse stores for the best deals, then they might as WELL be doomed to shop at walmart since they will get pretty low prices wihout having to spend too much time looking

How about why i don't?

Cause Walmart sucks, uses their power to drive out small shops and replace the higher paid workers with lower wage part-time workers.
Because they drive out stores, then use their power to limit selection (ala music censorship, book censorship), leaving people with no other options.

I don't support them either in anyway, as I'm quite aware that this corporation has grown to a monster to where it is today. People either love them or hate them, even those who hate them are forced to shop their which is kind of ironic since the place they hate most is the place they shop all the time. Doesn't make any sense to me. Groceries have existed a decade before wally began to compete with their recent 3-4 years super center giant store usually in a very good location where most poor people live.
People shop at walmart for many reasons which we will find unusual and it's interesting to hear them all.

They practice discrimination too.

Because it's cheap and also the convenience of being able to buy more than just groceries. I'd shop at target if they had a super target close to my house. One is coming, but until it does I will not be driving 15 miles to get to one, so walmart it is.
