Why does my nose always look shiny in the summer?

My nose always looks a little shiny when it's hot/humid outside and it's starting to annoy the hell out of me. There doesn't seem to be anything i can do to make it go away, including washing my face. I've seen people who have a similar problem, so i know i'm definitely not alone here. But what i don't know is whether there is anything i can do about it.

Is it shiny from oil? maybe you could wash your face more often.. or try some of those oxy wipe things.

Oxy pads...

Nah...some people carry those old spice wipes or whatever... since their face gets oily a lot... i just wash my face everytime i get a chance to.

when you're in your teens and going through puberty, it happens.....

once sure fix, would be to lop it off.

Funny thing is, i don't think it's shiny from oil. After i wash my face with Oxy cleanser and dry it, it still looks shiny if it's hot/humid where i am.
