Many US airliners have aircraft's manufactured by Boeing, Airbus, Bombardiair, Embrair, De Havilland. But none even have a single aircraft built by United Aircraft Corporation. Why?
Why not - just put it into HWhy don't all car rental fleets just use Yugos? I mean...IT'S A CAR, RIGHT?
Because airlines want planes that fit into their existing supply chains, trained staff, business relationships, are available in the quantities they need, and finally don’t come with needless political or business risk.
