You know what, in terms of "cheating", nVidia has been way worse than AMD, and that's a fact.
nVidia's trolls will come out and say that AMD had a corrupt relationship with Valve with respect to Half Life 2, however the fact of the matter remains that they were programming to a universal standard, Direct X.
nVidia has time and time again developed closed and proprietary standards, and they have repeatedly tried to force them upon the industry. CUDA, PhysX, and C for Graphics all come to mind. AMD has not engaged in that type of gibberish.
