My Asus Tuf 3080 10G OC is exhibiting a weird phenomenon whereby after 2 hours the power limit drops from 200W to 140W on its own.
I checked the thermals for both core and VRAM and these were 90 degrees and 41 degree prior to the power limit dropping off.
This happens whether I watch videos in full screen or play games and consistently the power limit drops off after about 2 hours.
I switched out PSU and also tried various different drivers. I have used HW Info to collect logs and on every ocassion despite whatever I am doing, the power limit tails off after 2 hours.
Running on Windows 11 Pro, 32GB RAM Ryzen 5600x.
What could be contributing other than a bad GPU?
