Brilliant idea. Sending to Obamas twitter feedIsn't there a big basketball fan that lives in DC. Obama should invite them over for a BBQ with live tweets from players about what an honor it is to be here.
This is pretty much it. Trump doesn't actually give a damn about anything in America. He's about the most selfish, self-centered human we've ever produced. The guy loves attention and being an asshole gives him the one thing he can't actually purchase.Because it riles up his base, causing them to shower him with adulation. That's it. He'd say almost anything to continue being a hero to those "loyal" to him.
The worst nightmare of the Right would be to run out of teapot controversies they can turn into tempests.
I'm confidant people can walk and chew gum at the same timeTrump's new policy for America. Dial the culture war to 11!

Oh, and while you're at it please don't pay attention to policy. Pretty please.

"I am deeply disappointed by the tone of the comments made by the President on Friday. I am proud to be associated with so many players who make such tremendous contributions in positively impacting our communities. Their efforts, both on and off the field, help bring people together and make our community stronger. There is no greater unifier in this country than sports, and unfortunately, nothing more divisive than politics. I think our political leaders could learn a lot from the lessons of teamwork and the importance of working together toward a common goal. Our players are intelligent, thoughtful and care deeply about our community and I support their right to peacefully affect social change and raise awareness in a manner that they feel is most impactful.”
Uh, because he's a 70 yr old white supremacist?
My estimation of Kim Jong Un moved up a notch when he used the word "dotard".
It was a good use of the word. Guy may be an insane, megalomaniacal tyrant but his insult game is top notch!Well, he wasn't wrong about it ...

Why is it football players get penalized for disrespecting each other (taunting, etc.) but not for disrespecting the national anthem? Personally, I'd rather get rid of the penalties for the former, but in any case it seems like a double standard.
Or maybe I just don't get this "sportsmanship" thing. (Hey, is that something we could apply to politics?)
