Does anyone else think that Trump getting into a war of words with pro basketball players just plays into Kim Jong Un's (bigger) hands?? LOLOLOL!

I love how Trump thinks the NFL team owners actually "own" the players that have made them billionaire's. Trump should lead by example and resign.

Now he's yelling at Goodell on Twitter.

"Roger Goodell of NFL just put out a statement trying to justify the total disrespect certain players show to our country.Tell them to stand!"

God, what a day! Did John Kelly just give the fuck up?

Because the nazis were shouting heil trump at their peaceful rally and the black guys are anti trump. I am sure in trumps head he is the great unifier of the american people. So how could some pro athletes be against him? Also the nazis are going to vote for him.

there are many sides to blame... </s>

i seriously hope that everyone who voted for trump comes to realize what an embarrassment he is to our country. just when you think he can't do something more stupid, he proves you wrong. somehow it's almost 1 year in and we're all still here, so i guess i all hope is not lost yet.

If they had that kind of brainpower they wouldnt have voted for him in the first place.

Donald Trump is a disgusting human being. How that was not readily apparent from the beginning is beyond me, but I will admit I am still being surprised at just how disgusting he really is.

Ha, nah, Trump's too stupid. I mean, look, their latest healthcare push is already dead in the water. What's there to distract from?

Their failing policy. It did not begin and does not end with the current healthcare push. Oh look, a bird!

Yeah, nah, there's no reason behind any of Trump's actions besides him being an attention whore desperate for praise. He's not playing 4D chess, he's just an idiot that evaluates everything base on 'do these people like me or not.' If he had any plan at all behind is actions, he wouldn't have:

1) Mocked a gold star family
2) Publicly flog Jeff Sessions
3) Fired Comey over the Russia investigation and then publicly say he fired him to stop the Russia investigation

And so on. None of the above had any logic behind them. Nothing good ever comes from getting into a spat with a gold star family, flogging Sessions (his earliest mainstream supporter) did nothing but damage his credibility and his utterly moronic handling of Comey got Mueller appointed. If he had fired Comey during the transition, no one would've blinked. If he had fired Comey after he misspoke in a congressional hearing two weeks before, no one would've blinked. If he had fired Comey after the FBI investigation into his actions was finished, no one would've blinked. Instead he chose the worst option, as he always does.

People need to stop pretending Trump has any plan. He's that painfully dumb.

Trump is the one true heart of the Republican Party. He stands for everything they believe in.

"Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up." I love it.

So white nationalists invade Charlottesville kill someone and Trump says almost nothing about them. He even said some of them were "fine people". Then in a written statement he finally disavowed white supremacists. Then a few days later disavowed the written statement. It isn't the first time he failed to immediately and unequivocally denounce Nazis or white nationalists. I wont rehash that list again.

Trump and many here voice their grave concern of the right of Nazis to have their free speech. So many warn us we need to stop interfering in white nationalists 1st amendment rights.

Now, juxtapose that to NFL black athletes peacefully protesting injustice in this country by kneeling during the National Anthem. Trump goes on a tirade calls Colin Kapernick a "son of a bitch" and demanded the NFL commit mass firings over this.
https://thinkprogress.org/trump-del...lin-kaepernick-a-son-of-a-bitch-f6d6298516ad/

Trump also went on a tirade because Steph Curry dare opined if he was going to the White House. Curry said the following
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...h-curry-white-house-visit-20170923-story.html

My question is we can clearly see what gets Trump worked up. Why when is comes to renouncing racism or white supremacists does it take 5 days and 3 staff meetings? Then he reads the statement in such a bland way it sounds like a hostage tape. But the Nazis? His first instinct is they are "fine people"

In Trump's mind, white people are "fine people" and blacks are sons of bitches. Pretty straight forward.

His twitter tends to erupt when things aren't going well.

Given the implosion of his legislative agenda (healthcare repeal probably going down again) and the candidate he was coerced into supporting in AL may well loose that election I'm guessing he's a tad cranky. This has the added benefit of firing up his ignorant ass base.

Also LOL at the irony of Mr. Anti-PC demanding a safe space at football games.

You may be right - Nazism was, and mostly still is, a problem of the 'first world'. Germany in the early 20th century was, of course, one of the world's greatest industrial powers, after all.

Now you mention it, you may have hit upon the example that undermines the whole 'first world problem' concept.

LOL @ "if you see someone taking a knee just up and walk out of the stadium."

Yeah that sounds like a great idea. Throw your $100 ticket away because this dumbass says so. I wonder if he will take some out of his billions to refund the people who do that.

Because it riles up his base, causing them to shower him with adulation. That's it. He'd say almost anything to continue being a hero to those "loyal" to him.

The worst nightmare of the Right would be to run out of teapot controversies they can turn into tempests.

They will never run out of tea pot controversies. They are the most sensitive, whiny, persecuted in their own minds group in the entire country. If you can gin up outrage over a red and green coffee cup not being Christian enough then you can find anything to be outraged about.
