The high quality of the game itself probably did not leave a lot of time for putting in loads of content, unfortunately. It was sort of a sacrifice, and sure they hoped multiplayer would allow people to basically create their own content to increase play-time - which for many, has worked fairly well.

I would pay for single player DLC. They created an amazing game world that it almost seems sad that won't add missions and some extra story line to it for a DLC product. It almost seems squandered. The next GTA may take 4-5 years and I'm sure people would pay $30 for a series of extra missions in the meantime.

I think an expansion is very likely to happen, didn't GTA4 get two expansions?

Rockstar has every right to milk this edition as they created the perfect recipe to build upon for the coming years.

I think it's unlikely. They'll keep pushing their online game and adding things to that. There's already vehicles available online that you can't get in single player without hacking it. Plus they can sell virtual currency to people that way too.

yeah I agree with Escrow4, it's like it's trying to be 20 games in 1! but none of the 20 games is particular done well. Golf, Tennis, driving, shooting, flying, it's all an after thought and "cool I can do this!?" I mean I would've loved it if they mapped out all the buildings inside out, and if every character had a routine, instead of just some random character on the street. Make it so that if you beat this character up, something will happen later that'll affect the story. Or make it so that if you kill so many people, people start to fear you as a crime lord. Or that prostitutes automatically blow you when they see you or something...

GTA 5 is just a game that contains a ton of mediocre mini games. Unfortunately, 100 mediocre games doesn't make the it awesome. It just makes it more mediocre..

This concept is not new to GTA V. Or sandbox games in general for the last few "generations," for that matter.

well Far Cry 4 was a pretty awesome sandbox game... Everything you did in the game, meant something!

No it didn't. There were a lot of quest lines that went nowhere or dead ended. Like the fashion quest where you hunt rare animals. It ended up at a dead end and said you completed it.

lol....gta v is like one of the most polished aaa games to ever come out. Missing features? Yeah..but good lord the game is polished.

Never said anything about it being polish or not. Only thing I said is the game is unfinished. It is very well polish but it is also very unfinished. It not a finish product is what I'm trying to say.

protip. If your a low level start from single player and pick join online. From there join a private or an invite only session. Run around and rob some places get a feel for the game. You will still get invites from a private session so you can join some of the eaier heist setups without fear of getting griefed.

Or you could use passive mode.

All in all update was a little small though for free hard to complain. Do kinda wish they had done more heists instead.

I would pay for heist DLCs.

They've been doing all free DLC's since they charge for the Shark Cards, although I don't know why anyone would buy one, getting currency in GTA is so easy even if you don't hack. There should be a second part to the DLC later this summer, they've said there probably won't be more "heist" content, but that there are other kinds of stuff in the works.

I'd pay $20-$30 for a story campaign that is more like the ones from GTA4/3/2/1. I didn't care much for the three headed presentation of GTA5. I much preferred the rags to riches stories of the prior games. The internal strife among the three characters in GTA5 just turned me off to all three characters (not Franklin as much, I guess).

The created an impressive game world though, and I wouldn't mind if they recycled it to tell a better story.

I loved GTA V. However, its story sucked, its campaign missions (heists) were stupid and not fleshed out properly, nor even worked properly, and nothing in the game was challenging except when you deliberately kill a bunch of cops and get the wanted level high enough. Despite that, its graphics were great, it was huge, and it took me a long time to get bored of it. Will definitely get GTA VI.

I bought GTA V pc for the mods. No modding online means I'll be sticking to single player. I played GTA IV pc and the online was full of modders. That was a good thing.
I can't take GTA Online seriously when I feel like I need to grind to earn $$$.

I'm sure many will disagree with me and that is perfectly fine. I hope everyone finds what they like to do in GTA.

Because people are happy to hand over $60 to preorder a game. There is no need to put out quality games when quality commercials are so much cheaper to produce.
