This came up in my recommended videos, I think it is a bit light but yet full of common sense and touches on a few things the left consistently gets wrong about Trump supporters. I'm in the "anywhere" group of people but still support Trump over the leftist elites because I think he had good ideas for everyday Americans. What do you think of his reasoning?

I've got a Mexican paid wall to sell you if you think Trump cares about the average American lol.

Steven Harper was Bush's lapdog and his gov't definitely had some corruption scandals, so I wouldn't take his word at immediate face value. He, like Trump, doesn't represent the average person.

Stephen Harper also gamed the election system to hold on to power at all costs, shut down the Canadian parliament when there were threats to his leadership, suppressed science and made it clear he was subservient to corporations, not the people.

No one should trust what Harper says for any reason.

1st. That has NOTHING to do with Trumpism.
2nd. Erase conservatism and populist from that message ... and ... you have dem policy do you not?
- And it makes sense for a Trumpster to rebrand dem policy as his/her own, cause, its a good friggin message. Like pre-existing conditions. Trumpster phonies EVERYWHERE ..

I think the modern conservatives and Trump supporters embrace globalism, but not at the expense of our nation. This is different than the Democrat that seem happy to give away America and put us at competitive disadvantages.

I don't see how his reasoning is any different to what has been said before:

People are unhappy/unsatisfied.
The left elites didn't have an immediate solution.
So they voted for Trump, a billionaire who didn't have an immediate solution either.

but still support Trump over the leftist elites because I think he had good ideas for everyday Americans.

Derp jerp slerp.

I think it's hilarious that his poster boy graphic for the "anywheres" is some millenial hoodie-wearing programmer who's ultimately still just a cog in the wheel, and not the billionaires who've actually wrested control over policy away from what should be a representative government of the people (i.e. true populism.) He totally ignored the Davos-attending 1 percenters impact on globalization--fiscal, monetary, trade and immigration policies, which laws and regulations are enforced (whatever happened to the CFPB?) etc.

In other words, Harper is a tool who'd rather have the "somewheres" blame educated smart people for all of their problems instead of blaming the CEOs and billionaires waging class warfare through policy.
