Why don't more people worship Satan?

Seriously, why not? I mean, the Devil wants you to do fun stuff. He will reward you for it. If you do his bidding, you are likely not to get tormented forever. If you worship God, then you are most likely screwed, since getting into heaven is damned near impossible.

All the cool people are already in hell, anyway. Just about every rock and movie star is there. The comedians are all there, too. So why not go to where it is warm and party?

i dont think that being burned alive, and not being able to die in this world is to be considered warm. Hell is the worse place to be. You won't have fun, you are being deceived that the place is fun, thats why the devil seems as though everything is nice and dandy. but once there, youve been had, youve been tricked, you will burn for eternity and it wont be very nice.

I rather stick to the good side and challenge myself so the gates of heavens can accepts me in. (which is extremely hard) ?

I think the main reason is thst people are raised with a sort of taboo. Satan is evil, therefore stay away at all costs. Also, religion is based on the afterlife, not worldly goods like satanism promises. Therefore, more people are attracted to the &quot;light,&quot; as opposed to the &quot;dark&quot; of Satan.

I actually saw a huge billboard on the side of the road once advertising a satanic cult. It gave me the creeps. :Q

First of all Satanist are confused people with no actual religious background. I say this for some very specific reasons. The word satan just means &quot;the accuser&quot; in Hebrew. In the old testiment there are actually very few references to the Devil and most of the time it is not in any reference to evil. Take the book of Job for example you can witness the &quot;devil&quot; and &quot;god&quot; having quite a polite conversation. The idea of a supreme evil being is stupid. I find it hard to believe that a intelligent, imortal being could be completely evil. I have a hard enough time being mad for a day or two let alone an eternity.
