Agreed on the music part. There isn't a music genre he can't reproduce. Rock, rap, honkey tonk, country, ect. He can mash together some pretty crazy sounding stuff that works.

Lyric wise...well...a 4th grader probably could write up something more complex.

Hater? You lose credibility just for using that word. And I've actually seen Kid Rock live 2-3 times and like most of his stuff. The last time I saw him, during a song, he played every instrument on the stage for a few minutes each and was disgustingly good on them all. However, you have absolutely no depth with your lyrical tastes if you truly believe Kid Rock is a great songwriter. Go to a lyrics site and just read all of his songs. Most are laughable on paper but I'll admit they come together well for his music.
