n ideal monitor, you would want OLED,
Oh god no... OLED has its bucket of issues, especially with autodimming if your using multi screens, and its always need to screen cleaning when the thing goes to sleep for X amount of min.
I had one, and im so glad i went over to VA, and moved the OLED to a Shield TV setup.
yup yup love me some burn in!
Nah today's OLED's unless your really stupid with them have excellent burn in protection.
For example, LG has a pixel shifter, where if it notices the screen is static, it will shift the pixels.
It also has auto dimming, where if it notices you have too many whites, it will dim the hell out of the screen.
PC Monitor OLED's also have the most annoying "Screen Cleaning" which always happens after the thing goes to sleep, resetting all the windows you had on that screen onto another monitor.
Gah, i can go on and on about why OLED's are more pain then they are worth.
For PC, a Mini-LED with 1000+ FALD Zones is probably more ideal, and if or whenever MicroLED's come out, they will displace OLED for PC market.
Stupid Hollywood and Game Developers however never learn, they can not outsmart the younger generation when they are hell bent to break something tho.
HDCP works about as well as DRM, which is near pointless, and only hurts the legal users.
Not going to get anymore into this, as it would be a violation of TOS.
