These are the purveyors of the so called "fake News". I hate to use that term because of its affiliation but it's the best descriptor.
This survey falls in line with others that show taking COVID-19 seriously depends on political affiliation. Almost 70% of Democrats take this pandemic seriously but only 40% of Republicans. Why? The anti-science party who only falls in line with Trump not only refused to listen to the experts but actively worked against taking early actions.
I'm making this a separate thread because it's not just a COVID-19 issue but a global climate change, the environment, almost anything involving science where we have data, evidence the right choose to not only ignore it but campaign against it.
We've seen it actively on Fox and pushed by Trump. COVID-19 is a hoax, coronavirus impeachment, making light of social distancing. Even today Devin Nunes says it's to eat in restaurants. Kid Rock refuses to close his bar despite the Governor of his state ordering otherwise. They are able to cerate a complete bullshit story out of nothing and brainwash their people into believing it. Birtherism and pizza shop/pedophile rumors come to mind. Now we have a life threatening pandemic and Republicans along with right wing media are endangering the country.
The result Republicans believe the hoax while Democrats are taking this seriously. When will the right wing media be held accountable for spreading lies, propaganda and working against the interest of the country?
