Because the democrats are smart enough to know that when they try and fail, Bush will just become more popular, just as Clinton did.

Because, like it or not, the impeachment process is pure politics. Not a sexy answer, but it's true. Republicans could let Bush get away with just about anything if they want to. The repugs impeached clinton for a bj. It's safe to say that if the dems were in power, Bush would be being investigated for his nefarious pre-meditated war plans.

What has he done based on the definition for impeachment that deserves such a thing.

Look at the definition of what is required and come up with the evidence from a non-political bias.

If an impeachment is being percieved as pure political, then it will probably not happen.
