I believe the House voted to repeal Obamacare more than a couple of times during the Obama years. How come they haven't repealed it already since they control the Legislative and Executive branch and why isn't there an alternative plan yet?

Because their leader, trump, has hyped up the replacement as being so awesome that anything less would be a complete disaster and they have no way to deliver that. Now some Republican senators are arguing to have Obamacare fixed rather than repealed and replaced.
Did you read about the 5 years Republicans have been doing repeal votes. Again the replace should have been in the chamber.It's only been a month so give them sometime.

I don't think they can forget what they never knew. The conservative brain defect manifests as heightened irrational fear, distrust of 'the other' an 'other' that their fear manufactures our of thin air. We create what we fear and one of the 'others' that conservative fear and that fear thus creates is incompetent government. It's a perfect set up. You run as a mad man in a group of crazed individuals claiming you're against big, incompetent government taking huge sums of money from those who profit from a lack of competent regulators all the while making good on the promise that government is incompetent and a mess. This can be done by any incompetent bozo who has no idea it's happening or by the very cunning or consciously by socio and psychopaths.It is so much easier to destroy than it is to build. After spending the last eight years trying to dismantle everything put forward by those trying to govern, somewhere along the line they forgot how to do the governing themselves.
