There were beta releases of the IDE and audio drivers and the audio utility last month (maybe in March?) and MSI distributed some drivers for their NF3 boards that work with NF2 boards, too. Here's my remix:

Audio Driver Version 4.31
Audio Utility Version 4.08
Ethernet Version 3.13
GART Version 3.77
IDE Version 4.12
Memory Controller Version 3.38
SMBus Version 4.04

Installer Version 4.31

This is a very stable and nimble driver pack. Most of my stuff is newer than the 3.13 UDP you'll notice.

Yeah VIA rocks when it comes to mobo driver updates. Guess nVidia thinks everything is working fine, so why fix it.

yeah, but everything is NOT working fine. Especially the LAN drivers, and the IDE drivers. I will most likely go back to VIA for my next upgrade, just because of better support.

No, I did not miss your post. I read the thread concerning it. Many people were having problems with the BETA drivers, some quite serious, especially concerning the IDE.

The ITB IDE drivers in the 4.12 beta set work fine. The SW-IDE driver is another story for many folks though.

Also, most of the rest is just a rehash. It's not much of an update. The LAN drivers still cause so much slow down, I have to use an add in card rather than onboard.

Use the ethernet drivers from the 2.45UDP Johnbear007, they offer the same network performance with little to no CPU utilization.

Id prefer to stick with an adapter that gets consistent updated drivers, rather than use an old version from nvidia

I use the onboard LAN on my Abit NF7-S R2 with the ethernet drivers from the 2.45UDP and it is perfect. I'm confused by your stance.

I'mnot sure why it's so terribly confusing. I'd rather use a piece of add in hardware that gets regular driver updates, than use old drivers for the onboard LAN. When they release new drivers for the onboard LAN, then i'll try those. I just prefer using a product that gets regular updates and support, rather than one that I have to use an outdated version of the driver for to get it to work.

I'm a member there and I used to follow the UDP drama, but as of 3.13 I've stopped being excited about them. I've built my own UDP remix that works very well for my system. If something works better in the new UDP I'll incorporate it into my remix.
