This article also proves my point further that what the mother ingests does affect directly what is in breastmilk. Not some psychic reaction between the babe's saliva and a tit.

Anyhow, 95% of women are not unattractive as Trident put it. Damn dude, you have some serious issues if you think that.

He must spend too much time on 4chan, anything other than a perfect 10 isnt acceptable for him

LOL and I know TONS of hot chicks with plenty of kids. Actually too damn many where I live. I know an 19 year old you that you couldn't tell has 4 kids already. All from different dads, but hot as hell. She also works at a sports bar here call Bikini's. Kind of like hooters but with more skin exposed as the girls all work in bikinis. She is damn near a perfect 10 too.

Tirident, as usual, doesn't know anything about which is he speaks upon. Instead crap just comes out.

I just figured that people who had issues with breastfeeding were probably in need of professional help. I nursed both of my babies, whenever and wherever they needed to be fed. Only ever had one person be confrontational, and that was some creepy guy sitting in front of us on an overnight Amtrak ride who turned around in his seat and openly stared until my spouse made him stop. The guy spent the rest of the trip in the dining car.

No no no, goose and gander. I'd have kept right on staring. Though, you wouldn't find me creepy.

I was covered by a blanket and he appeared to be jerking off.

It was in the middle of the night with the lights turned down and a nursing infant would be preferable to a crying, hungry one. My husband discouraged him from acting like that in front of his wife and our other child.

I was just joking. I would have punched him in the face if I thought he was jacking it.

While I haven't read through the entire thread, as exciting as this one is...
For those of you that have commented on break time, this was a part of the healthcare reform act.

Employers subject to FLSA should be familiar with this requirement which is overseen by the Department of Labor.

All it says is "reasonable" break time which leaves it fairly open to interpretation by both employee and employer. It also doesn't say that an employer has to like it and not be resentful of nursing mothers.

Go ahead and try firing someone for taking an "unreasonable" break to pump, just so I can feel really lucky that I'm not your lawyer!

The employer doesn't have to like it, but they sure as hell have to tolerate and not discriminate based on it.

Smokers are infinitely more disgusting, yet they take 15 minutes on the hour. And they're not even protected.

Employer liking it or not has nothing to do with it, if the employer is subject to Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) they are required to abide by it (for any employers or managers reading this that frown on allowing break time for nursing mothers you should consult with your HR Department or Attorney. You could be subjecting your organization to potential liability).

Regarding "reasonable", this is a fact sheet and not the actual reg. If you are an HR pro or a lawyer then you should be looking to the reg and the official commentary to determine what "reasonable" is.

"This fact sheet provides general information on the break time requirement for nursing mothers in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“PPACA&#8221, which took effect when the PPACA was signed into law on March 23, 2010 (P.L. 111-148). This law amended Section 7 of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). "
