Jesus wasn't pasty white like people from Scandinavia or Germany, but if he filled out a U.S. census form in this day and age, he would probably check off "White" like most folks from the Middle East, Northern Africa, Sephardic Jews, etc. do.
Jesus most certainly was not "black", unless you would also call someone with Al Pacino's complexion "black". "Black" people are indigenous to regions including and South of, the Sahara desert. I would guess that Jesus was probably just like all the other Mediterranean Caucasians (folks that inhabit Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Northern Africa): having a tan complexion, dark brown/black hair.
Although the "white" people in the Middle East have had contact with black peoples of Sub-Saharan Africa for several millenia, I doubt there was much gene flow between the populations, particularly with the ancient Jews, who went to great lengths to keep their blood pure. It's extremely unlikely that Jesus was black, unless he was a reverse albino (which doesn't exist, BTW).
BTW, I'm Indian, and also Hindu, so I really don't care if Jesus was black or white
