I start every day early, having set my alarm clock (made in Japan) for 6:00 am. While the coffee pot (made in Japan) is perking, I put the blow dryer (made in Taiwan) to work and shaved with my electric razor (made in Hong Kong).

This morning, I put on a dress shirt (made in Taiwan), designer jeans (made in Singapore), and a pair of tennis shoes (made in Korea). After cooking up some breakfast in my new electric skillet (made in the Philippines), I sats down to figure out on my calculator (made in Mexico) how much I can spend today.

After setting my watch (made in Switzerland) to the radio (made in Hong Kong), I left the house, got in my car (made in Germany), and, as has been my daily task for months, went looking for a good paying American job.

After the end of another discouraging and fruitless day, I came home to relax for a while. I put on a pair of sandals (made in Brazil), poured myself a glass of wine (made in France), and turned on the TV (made in Japan), and pondered again why I can't find that "good paying American job."

got any advice?

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN
JAPAN) for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he
shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress
shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), ! designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and
tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking his breakfast in his new
electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE
IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his
watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car
(MADE IN GERMANY) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN
JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, Joe
decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL)
poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV
(MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying
job in.AMERICA.....

I don't see how you're going to find any good jobs without any leads. It's fruitless to just go out and start asking companies if they are hiring. You should start with good leads first such as browsing through the job section of your local newspaper, online job sites, and the best of all, personal referrals. Then submit a resume or application if required to these companies.

Get one of those new high-tech service jobs thats going to lead the US into the next decades to higher living standards and unprecidented wealth!

I wonder if the Chinese and Japanese have doubts about the US ability to sustain it's lifestyle as they both have stopped buying US government debt and/or have started selling it!....not to mention US stock markets are as flat as a flitter (even with average profits up 13%) while foreign markets are skyrocketing (most).

Enjoy those furture jobs boys and girls...and remember, "do you want frys with that?"!!!
