I start every day early, having set my alarm clock (made in Japan) for 6:00 am. While the coffee pot (made in Japan) is perking, I put the blow dryer (made in Taiwan) to work and shaved with my electric razor (made in Hong Kong).
This morning, I put on a dress shirt (made in Taiwan), designer jeans (made in Singapore), and a pair of tennis shoes (made in Korea). After cooking up some breakfast in my new electric skillet (made in the Philippines), I sats down to figure out on my calculator (made in Mexico) how much I can spend today.
After setting my watch (made in Switzerland) to the radio (made in Hong Kong), I left the house, got in my car (made in Germany), and, as has been my daily task for months, went looking for a good paying American job.
After the end of another discouraging and fruitless day, I came home to relax for a while. I put on a pair of sandals (made in Brazil), poured myself a glass of wine (made in France), and turned on the TV (made in Japan), and pondered again why I can't find that "good paying American job."
got any advice?
