Punctual seems pretty damn clear to me. Where do women get the idea that being somewhere on time is open to interpretation?
Actually, it pisses me off. The later somebody is, the more pissed I get. 90% of the time, it's women who pull that crap, but some men do, too. They'll usually discover that I won't wait for their sorry ass, either. I know I'm not the only person who feels this way, and wonder why women are usually the offenders. They attend the same schools, and functions men do. They're raised by the same parents. When and how does this schedule apathy creep in?
If I were to pick the one factor that was most likely to turn me to homosexuality, that would be it.

That would probably be number 4, behind "more likely to think in a way that I can predict" and "less likely to bring the hot water heater to its knees."
Maybe you don't have ADHD, you just need to do more and make use of your mind, i was diagnosed with ADHD when i was abused by my parents, in foster care i had the opposite diagnoses and i always fought against any BS from a doctor besides obvious things, it turned out i have a well above average intellect (i had various brain scans when being on drugs for epilepsy which was caused by Ritalin) and i had to be tested for cognitive ability. Oddly my father has a way below average intelligence, odd huh? child was way more intelligent, it shows too.Old thread, sure, but I'll bite.
It has nothing to do with genders, everything to do with personality/temperament/attitude/mental health.
I've come to learn (confirmed/affirmed, really, long suspected) that it seems I've ADHD-I. Punctuality and I have never been on good terms. It's gotten me repeatedly into trouble too, still does in fact. An utter inability to truly fix that, among many other traits, finally led me to challenge the original diagnosis and find a new doctor.
Now, if we were talking about irrational terror of spiders, then I'd venture a gender-based generalisation.
Well, realize that time is man's invention (you could think of it as a gender thing, too), not nature's. The notion of simultaneity is a fiction, not a reality. I say this because I'm a philosopher, not because I am not punctual. Actually, I'm one of the most punctual people you'll encounter. But I'm aware that it's just me, not something written in stone. It's my choice. When other people aren't punctual I usually just let them slide, don't say anything.Punctual seems pretty damn clear to me. LOL @ punctuality being a "woman" thing...I'm 50 and I think I've been on time to work about 7 times in my life
:: pulls collar ::Right but there is "on time" to work - where no one is expecting you, and you don't have meetings...
And then there is "on time" to work - where you have an 8:00 sharp meeting that you have a big part in.
I have no problem waking up at 8:30 and waking up my laptop while I grab a coffee during days where I don't have shit to do.
The difference for me - is when ANYONE is depending on me. If someone is depending on me, then I make sure I'm well ahead of schedule and am prepp'd.
