why is SF full of ugly women?

I get what you're saying but when you're with a girl that everyone wants to bed and she's yours (as long as you can take the drama), it's quite an ego boost. Fun to fool around with but likely not marriage material.

I married a stripper, so I definitely get the idea.

For people that aren't into 'popular' things, however, it comes down to being with someone YOU find attractive or being with someone OTHER people find attractive. Given those two options, there's no question. Gimmie my small breasted, pale skinned, short, not anorexic, anti-establishment hippie/alt.

Conversely I find PacNWers (including/especially SF) extremely attractive because they don't do the things or act the way people do in LA, NY, etc. There is nothing less attractive than materialism, A-type personality, makeup, fashion followers, socialites, etc. There is nothing hotter than intelligence, compassion, free spirits, naturalness, etc.

In other words, some people like certain things, and other people like the opposite. Therefore the 'reality' of anything exists only in the mind of the perceiver.

You would love most European women. German women are like this.

For both of you that lived in both regions, girls aside, what's the nicer place - SoCal or NorCal?

i grew up in socal, and currently live there.

but i'd also say norcal but just slightly.

most of the reason i am even in socal is my family is here, and that sort of thing, like other than the weather and sights , norcal is better.

i guess if i was moving from some other random state i'd live in norcal and visit socal for all the attractions and glitz.

now im not saying socal is terrible, but norcal i think is generally a better place to live especially as you get older, and i'm 100% sure it'd be a better place to raise kids / family.

i suppose when you are in your early to mid 20s though you might like partying in LA more. they jsut know how to throw a crazy party and nightlife (i'm 31 now, sadly and im a little past that stage but i did live it in socal).

so it really does depend. i do think SF is pretty superficial too. as the other guy said its superficial in a different way.

Oh but you'd be wrong, there are all types of materialistic women here too, except they're more retarded, and uglier.

i gotta agree. there are basically the same type of women in the bay, but because of the rather large surplus of men due to silicon valley you'll get the same attitude and retardness but the girl will be uglier.

and she'll have the upper hand anyway because they are relatively scarce.

Yeah, NorCal is not exactly known for abundance of hotties, which is weird, considering how many rich guys there are here.
But remember that you are surrounded by
-gay dudes
-nerds who often lack confidence
-artsy people with no job
So if you are self confident and employed, you can do OK for yourself.

Don't blame the gays for the hideous women that seem to inhabit the bay area...we didn't make them ugly.

I think there are more hot women in the South Bay than the other parts. I was at a club in SJ back in August and there were lots of hot girls there dressed like prostitutes, and my reaction to that was actually "woah, this is like being in SoCal."
