Costco or sams club would be a better bet than amazon. And if you want local made, go get custom locally made furniture. They make it to your spec.

Furniture is not something that you should be purchasing from Amazon or Ikea. Most quality furniture is still made in the East / South East region like Carolina.

Amazon is basically the same as Ebay, it's just made to look like a retailer. When you're buying from Amazon, 99% of the time it's actually from a 3rd party seller in China. Amazon does sell stuff directly too, but that is a small portion of what is on there.

While you're ordering from there though, make sure to get an order of sugar free gummy bears. Sounds crazy, but it's the best thing ever. It will make you go to the moon and back.

what? no, just no. you aren't going to be ordering well mad furniture off the internet and have it shipped to you, reasonably. If you want something good, you still have to go to a showroom or a real crafter or a consignment shop and you have to pay. If you want it online and delivered, just accept that it will be crap.

...and then your only option is really wayfair. It's....not the worst, but it isn't great.
