Why is there no AnandTech Fury X review!?

All the day one reviews differentiate in many ways. I hope the delayed review could add some insight to voltage regulation, core and memory overclocking, varying power consumption figures, HBM memory management, and VRM thermals.

If you need a few bottles of cough syrup, I'm sure the Anandtech community can gladly donate to the cause!

Anandtech is the ONLY major hardware site on the entire Internet with no Fury X review, 1 full week after its release!!! And that's for a highly anticipated piece of hardware! There is no way that kind of shit would have happened under Anand. He would have found a way or he would have asked someone else to do the job. Anything to avoid missing such an important dead line. NOTE: Anyone can tell me if they remember this website missing such a huge launch, for over a week, in the last 10 years? Because I don't.

I really hope this is only a one in a million occurrence.

Thing that is confusing is, the benches were updated with Fury results, but, the actual article is missing. Most of the first part of the article would have been AMD's PR stuff, so, no new info there. The benches speak for themselves, so, no new info there either.
Thus, the only thing missing is the conclusion, but, again, it isn't difficult to already know this as well.

That basically means, there is no real reason to read AT's Fury 'review', unless you want to read some commentary.

On the NDA lift, they should have shown the PR stuff and benches, and then have a article later on as a follow up whenever Ryan is able to...but they didn't.

It is very possible to be basically flattened for a week with a cold (well more likely flu or such like) without getting a doctor involved.

Especially if you're expected to write dense technical text.

I see no proof of this in the past (post Anand leaving), AT didn't find out about the gimped 970, until after the fact, and the followup on the issue was barely adequate.

Could also be, they know they missed the boat, so, they are waiting for the dual Fury or Nano card to finally do something.

"Uploading" isn't entirely the correct term here, as he has to put it into the CMS and format everything. It can be a bit tedious.

Very good write up. I enjoyed it and always super thorough.

Conclusion page was spot on. The specs for the Nano - are those official? Because if so, that is going to be an interesting card if the price is say, $450 or in that ball park. Doesn't seem to be cut down at all, just clocked down.
