Why is there so much Global protest against this current American conflict?

Two years ago, Afghanistan was the rallying cry. Now it's Iraq. Next, maybe North Korea. I've come to believe that people are less against the war in iraq than against american power. I've come to believe that a lot of these protests are based on principles than actualities and eventualities. The fact is we have conflicts all over the globe and the current american one is gaining the most attention. I think that these protests are based primarily based on fear (of US domination) than anger about iraqi civilians dying.

That's what I've been saying all along. Who's against this war? Only people who are against America or the current administration. That means their prejudice is clouding their perception of the issues and makes their opinions completely irrelevent. If I know you're against me no matter what I do, then I'm not even going to care what you think.

that is probably not far from the truth. the ease with wich the current war started is what scares many people around the world: anyone could be next.
