Its clocked at 560/1400. That's all. And the board layout is different from the 7600GT CO too.

itsnot so great anymore.
a single x850xt equals or beats or and cost much less.
a single 7900gs beats it by a wide margin and cost 200
a single x1900xt 256 beats the living crap out of sli 7600gt and cost less.
so as you can see not that great of a card.

Prices on the 7600 series have been falling for weeks in anticipation of the release of the 7650 series, before the end of September. That's next week! The 7650GS will be first. The 7650GS is already visible in NVidia's latest driver.
The 7650 series will be manufactured using the 80 nm process
I guess we'll soon know if there are really 16 pipelines in the G73 core, because if there is a 7650GT, it will use these 16 pipelines.

Actually, its more expensive
a single 7900gs beats it by a wide margin and cost 200
a bit more performance for twice the $$? no thanks

not everyone wants a power hungry card that can double as a space heater inside their case :Q

Its already proven in the lastest rivatuner. G73 has 4 quads, not 3 that everyone was led to believe.

It's cheap on account of being cheap to make plus plenty o' competition in that segment. But it's not really particularly cheap as even the same monger sells a BFG variant for $114.
Ok, I realize the space heater quip was partly in jest but let's get real here. I'm a little tired of people saying the X1*** series cards are going to light your house on fire or melt away the flesh on your leg if it comes in contact with your computer. The MAX output of a 256MB X1900XT is somewhere in the vicinity of 100W. A cheap spaceheater expels somewhere around 1500W. Good comparison.Originally posted by: schneiderguy

It is not exactly so cheap.
Also, I would anyday get a 7600GT over X850XT PE. Also, those who say X850XT is faster, try both cards on SM2.0 and then tell whether you can tell the difference, else it is all misleading with one doing SM3.0 and the other doing SM2.0 as happens in online benchies.

God, they still use 128-bit memory? That in itself would turn me away. Not unless you want to be stuck with 1024 x 768 for most games.
