They have a patch on Rage forums from a few years ago that changes the splash screen. It was a riot during the 9700/9800 days when ATi's cards were way above the 5x series especially the 5800 blowdryer/dustbuster/leafblower/accord supercharger thing. I had one and didn't even get an hour use out of it after deciding the fan was too damn noisy so I hung it on the wall for spite.
Nowadays with the 7900/1900's you really cannot go wrong with either card.
EDIT: What would be nice is if the game could dynamically change the splash screen depending on what chipset it detects. ATi and nV would be obvious. Some of the others like Intel Extreme Graphics it could come out and say Extremely choppy gameplay or XGI should've bought a real adapter, heh.
Cheers!

Wow, now THAT is a cool idea. If I was a programmer with skillz, I'd do something like that and make a mint. What a neat idea.

Nope, you were right about the ATI slogan: Get in the Game. Maybe you all can dig up some more here: ATI Advertising Page
