I know it really requires a gamepad to really play a racer well but u can get a USB one for like $20. So why is my only option a damn NASCAR game? Why no good titles like GT4 and others?

LFS is developing very slowly because of only 3 man team. It's in S2 Alpha (Stage 2) version now. It is said that S3 will be the full featured version. But LFS still is simply a joy to play, especially the online games.Originally posted by: NYHoustonman
Live for speed is great, although with some cars it feels like the rear tires aren't grippy enough (particularly that rear-engined convertible thingy).
I haven't played rFactor but I've read lots of positive comments about it. There's a lot of good racing simulators on the market. Something for everyone Some simheads are currently raving about the upcoming NetKar Pro, some are into GT Legends etc..Originally posted by: NYHoustonman
I have heard that RFactor is good (the demo was good when I tried it)...

I really miss some good games as well. I'd love to have some sort of 16 player car race online with people.
Anyone remembeer Monster Truck Madness 2? That was a fun multiplayer game.
