So you're saying that nobody is shooting at anyone, then? Since a cop has been shot in the head, I don't think you're really up on the news.

For the record, a "sniper rifle" isn't its own deal - I could slap an airgun scope on my Ruger target rifle, and the media would say it's a sniper rifle.

there is a huge difference between going into a supermarket to get survival provisions and breaking into a gun shop for weapons, stealing sneakers and everything else that is not nailed down.

I for one thought it strange that there weren't C-17 Globemasters flying around NO doing exactly what you are describing. The military has tons of MREs and fresh water on hand, so why not distribute it to the citizens of NO?

Airdropping supplies would probably be difficult, given the flooding. Also, I'm not sure it would be wise to drop large packages on civilians who are not trained or informed on how to handle drops safely. People might get seriously injured.

Helicopters bringing large packages slowly to the ground might be safer.

It is gangs of lowlifes that are breaking into shops, stealing whatever they can get their hands on. They are terrorising everyone around them and there are even reports of raping teenage girls. This is not a cry for attention.

...these people were at the convention center for the three days filming and reported a totally different story that had been told up until this point. if you turn on your tv now it's just now making it's way to your living rooms!
