I don't see any great concern for privacy on the part of the upcoming generation. It could be a sort of defeatism, if those who have the power to act upon personal knowledge of any given person also have the power to obtain it whether one likes it or not, why bother fighting it. It would be very stereotypical of you to be the type so scared of having problems or not having a perfect life that you sit around and do nothing, scared to ever risk failure which is IMO far worse than being a screwup.
