Why do some users show 1000s of posts? Is that even possible on this site? How long has this site been up?

Why? It's about time we had some accountability in these parts. I think everything is his sig should be mandatory for everyone here. It would be a much nicer place.

Well, you see, we have some (ahem) members who spend close to 20 hours a day posting on various forums, AT being their primary.

A few others have cushy jobs that allow them to surf the net a lot (I was one before I retired!), others are students who surf & post in class.

But for most of them, post count means more to them than anything in the world! Their lives are not complete until they reach Lifer status at AT.

Bullshit, the "Facebookization" of the internet is making it worse, not better.

Plus, pizza delivery companies and gay porn publishers would go broke if every 14-year-old kid had the full name and address of everyone that they argued with on the internet.

I posted quite a bit early on in my career when I was on the forum all day... at least 10 posts a day. It's been many years of accumulated posts.

Avg'ing just under 12 a day. But these days it's more like 5.
