Sorry, but I don't like the Eagles chances in this game.

You Eagle fans are something else. There is a reason why you guys don't win the big ones, it's because you are the most obnoxious people on the planet. Not to mention the lack of reading comprehension. Moose is an obnoxious Eagle fanboi. I used to be an Eagle fan back in the days of Buddy Ryan and Cunningham, now I find it hard to find an ounce of anything to root for. As much as I dislike the Pats, I will be rooting for them so Philly suffers for a whole nother year. The only way I could dislike Philly more would be if they signed Randy Moss and had Kobe Bryants seal of approval on it...

Once again...I know reading comprehension is tough for Philly fans...but why take a +14 bet when I can get even to +6.5 everywhere else? If it is too difficult maybe somebody can create an mp3 of it so they don't have to put down their Campbells Meaty Loser soup to use that thing with letters on it in front of the small TV

If someone really wants to bet that the eagles will win by 2+ tds, I'll put money against that.

That being said, I think the pats are going to win, but people shouldn't talk about a blowout. The Eagles have a great secondary (albiet a little aggressive which gets them in trouble). They've had a great running defense for the last half of the season. Reid isn't a dumb$hit like Cower and Dungy. McNabb is sooooooo good. As a Pats fan, I'm more afraid of the Eagles than any other team they have played all season. They are versitile and creative.

THAT being said, I think the pats will squeek this one out. Probably under the margin, but they will win. Brady has been too clutch. Dillion balances out the offense, and their defense has been terrific.

I expect this to be a very good game, and a very close one.

You can talk all you want about how the Pats will mop the floor with em etc, but how many of you were saying the same thing about the Pats vs Rams? StL was favored by 14, and yet you still talk the talk with a 6.5... too funny.

Also, none of you have refuted anything that Moose has said, except someone commented that they didn't think Philly receivers would get open b/c the Colts didn't (even though they didn't have a scrambling threat).

Here's the thing. It might be a blow out or a close game, either way, the pats win. It's all about Bellichek the fvcking genius. He has 2 weeks to mold that team into an Eagles killer. In the regular season I would give the Eagles a chance, but not now. Andy Reed is a good coach but not a Bellichek.

Come on guys. The Eagles have a good offense, even without T.O., yes. No one has denied that.

You are absolutely fooling yourself if you think for a second that they have a better offense than the Colts. Sure, Peyton can't run and McNabb can. You know what? Peyton is still the best QB in the league. He is smarter than McNabb, makes faster reads than McNabb, is more accurate than McNabb, etc. Plus, you act like the Colts don't have weapons? Edge is a formidable pass catcher, they have the best trio of WR's in the league, and two solid TE's. Don't fool yourself here.

I have to say, after reading this entire thread, that I've rarely seen a time when smack talk from another team's fans has exceeded Eagles fan smack talk (with the exception of Cowboys fans sometimes).. but this is ridiculous. I only put it out there in response to Nitemare's blowout prediction thread where he claimed a 2 TD margin of victory if Tom Brady was abducted by aliens. He suddenly stopped blathering on about the Pats and started quoting vegas odds. I guess his bluster is all BS...

um no one in this entire thread every said the eagles will win by 2 touchdowns

while several people in fact proclaimed that that it would be a blowout or pats by two touchdowns

which is why i offered $500 on eagles +14 which means the pats (if they win) will win by 14 or less points

why make such a ridiculous claim they are that confindent the eagles have no chance in covering a 14 point spread
