Why you hate rappers

Well since all of you cant seem to stay on topic. I have created a thread to allow you to express your feelings/stereotypes about rappers. If you don't have said player hation towards rap, then please use some of the bellow stereotypes to build a strong hate towards it.

Reasons to hate rap:

They talk weird
All rap is negative
All rap sounds the same
Rappers are stupid

You get the idea

I don't personally like rap, but I don't hate it either. It has its moments.

That being said, I don't think rap is any worse than than those "stupid" head baggin' hard rockers that yell and scream and are unintelligible. All I hear is bla bla yah yah YYYYYEAAAAAAH SCREAMTOTHETOPOFMYLUNGSANDJUMPAROUNDANDSCREAMSOMEMORE!!!!

I actually like rap, I rarely listen to anything else. What I hate most are the "rappers" you find on the airwaves today. They dont have good lyrics, they simply rely on slick production and bling bling to sell records. If they can get MTV to hype them up as something big, the the lemmings that watch will buy their record and support their mediocrity.

Give me some artists who rely on their lyrical prowess to succeed and I'll give you $15.

ONe thing that bothers me is it makes the youth of today look up to the stereo type of people that promote bad situations, attitudes and behavoirs as being kool.. Also a lot of it sounds the same and the sampling is driving me crazy. If these so called talented people are so great why dont they come up with thier own music .. and do you really want to know why they rap.. because they cannot sing.. wow i better stop before i get going.. o i am not saying that some of it is not intertaining.. i do like some of the beasty boys tunes and a few others but as a whole it takes way more talent to sing than it does to speak to the beat.. he hee ..

i listen to some rap, but with many songs, it's annoying listening to some guy talking about how cool he is.

I live in a town with a lot of rapper types. Baggie, bright clothes with sideways hats and shiny white shoes. They remind me of circus clowns. It isn't just black people, in fact the white people annoy me more. It's like if I, as a white male, started wearing one of those Vietnamese farmer hats and a traditional oriental suit. It just doesn't fit and I'd look like a poser.

What annoys me more than the clothing is the arrogance. They are complete morons and every once and awhile you'll get the type who tries to trick you or make you look like a moron. They never succeed, they're too stupid, but the attempt itself pisses me off.

Of course there are a few around here who are cool people who just happen to like the hip-hop culture. But that's a rare find.

Ignorance. Lack of creativity. It just seems that people listen to rap to give them a sort of self esteem boost. If you listen to this hardcore music with a guy going off about the thug life and how hardcore he is, then obviously you must be hardcore. Another example of modern society's blurring of image and music.

Now, pop and rock and country etc aren't any better. It's all so fvcking fake, but now I'm going off topic.

well said!:thumbsup: so what do you like Xionide? i realize this is OT forums, but there are better ways to use your time than making hate threads. Do as you would be done by. and i personally think rockers are equally dumb and clownish if not worse sometimes.
