this gpu's price is always the same.
the best "deal" is to buy it at day one, there is no reason to wait or buy it later

When it comes to the flagship you might as well buy day 1, it's been that way for a while.
Who are you asking?
I assume anyone building a gaming PC right now, today, would buy this card if they demanded the very best. They wouldn't have bought it at launch if they didn't have the PC yet.
i have it, but the discussion is about "why they buy it notdayone"Theres plenty of people which money isnt the concern, but need. They need the fastest card at this time for whatever reason, and have the money.
Try some creative thought.
Big pay raise, want to reward themselves. Couldn't dream of the TXP last year, but now they can afford it.
Or just a renewed interest in PC gaming. They could have afforded the TXP at launch, but saw no need. Now they want to max out *insert new game here* and demand the best to satisfy this sudden urge of their rejuvinated hobby. Do you want me to list more possible reasons someone might have renewed sudden interest in PC gaming?
You cannot imagine scenarios where someone is willing and able to buy a TXP today, but not at launch because of changes?

Hopefully you are quick enough to snag one because they sell really quickly Had it sold for 999 I would have considered it, but 1200 is too much for me to justify buying it. It is nice to have the fastest for 6+ months but I'm not sure if Nvidia will have the high end to themselves for that long next generation.I might start buying Titans on release day. Sure they are expensive and you are paying for diminishing returns, but if you want the best you will have the best for over 6 months. This is pretty rare in the computer world.
Also seems like they can sell for 70-80% on the used market, that isn't so bad for a yearly upgrade.

Titan X -> 980 Ti was under 3 months.
