Ok I just woke up from the creepiest dream I think I've ever had. This girl appeared to me twice in a store. Her name is Erica Bordeaux. The first time I saw her I followed her into the woods out the back of the store. Deep into the woods. The trees were painted yellow and there were fires to guide the way. Then we were at this party at a house or cabin or shed or something deep in the woods. A group of people, including Erica, went out into the woods for some reason. She never came back.
Jump to present day. I'm in a huge dept store, checking out. I just woke up out of a trance where I saw her and the woods. I look around very frightened. A deep sense of absolute fear grips me and continues to until a good hour after I wake up from the dream. anyway so I've just come out of some sort of trance and have no idea where I am or how I got there. No one familiar is around me, so I ask the cashier, a middle aged black woman, if she knows Erica Bordeaux. Everyone in the store stops and turns and stares at me. People have frozen midway thru taking things off of shelves to glare at me. Suddenly I'm once again in the back of a store, and Erica is right in front of me. I follow her again and when we reach the isle that has picture frames in it, she stops and turns toward me. She has the most beautiful face in the world, and unmistakable orange hair. I motion for her to lead me again and she smiles sadly and shakes her head. She then motions for me to continue out the door without her, and then disappears. I take a step forward and I am suddenly walking in the door of an antique shop on the second level of a building. There is a balding old man behind the counter and a middle aged woman buying something. picture frames maybe. I walk behind the counter and pick up a pencil and begin writing down the name Erica Bordoo, then scribble out the last part. My hand is shaking to the point where I can hardly make recognizable letters, and I write Bordeaux under where Bordoo was scribbled out. I ask the lady at the counter and the man behind it if they know who she is. After a few seconds the woman, a slightly overweight lady with brown hair and streaks of grey, says that Erica was the most beautiful person she ever knew, and that even though she's been missing for (unclear in dream, but more than 20 years) she thinks Erica is still alive.
Back to the party. I'm suddenly sitting in a corner with my head in my hands, nearly puking. The beer is almost gone, and I look up in time to see Erica going out the door with a group of people, mostly guys, following her. I get up and shakily follow them. I lose them soon after we enter the woods, but there are stripes of yellow on the trees, and everything is unnaturally dark. even the sputtering flames that seem to float in the air cannot light more than five or ten feet in any direction. Suddenly I am filled with absolute horror and sadness, and I awake with a start.
