some how i doubt that will pay off his 1000+ plus fee

The $1102 is for the fees only...he has no idea how much money she spent that they don't have on top of that!

Overdraft. Bank pays up for you, but you owe them. Fees, interest, house, first born child, soul, et cetera

A lot of banks have overdraft services. You can write checks past zero, up to a certain point. They just charge you a crapload of money. That being said, I disabled overdraft on my checkbook.

Oh, the bank won't get the police involved for a while, yet. They want charges to accumulate. And if you show any attempt whatsoever to repay your debt, they'll usually work with you.

Jesus! I've done that a few times but it only totaled about $150 or so. I was so pissed because the transactions were delayed so I charged a few bucks and it turned out I didn't have enough so then I go charged $32 for each transaction. Still over a thousand dollars? I don't know howTF you do that. I'd probably have a heart attack and die.

There is something wrong in this woman's head. 38 bounced checks in one month? That's not an accident. That's a cry for help.

and get owned in the process. The path is set and cannot be altered.

That's just what they do, like they always do.

Ok, all of a sudden I don't feel so bad about my situation.
< My brother, the cop, stole $6,000. from me last year. Then assualted me. After I fixed his house, paid off his CC bills, blah blah, woof woof.
I hope he enjoys it. Maybe he'll drown in the swimming pool / spa I fixed or choke on vomit from being drunk. Hopefully it won't be HIS vomit.
I suggest counsoling for both of you. And an allowance for her.
Good luck, man.

A few days ago, my mom gave me a blank check to buy $100ish of clothes. Afterwards, I recorded it in her checkbook and noticed the balance had not been addded in 4 pages. Turns out she has -$350, who knows how much with the NSF fees.
Do women think money just magically appear in the checking account every two weeks?

And do men have to spew out stupid sh!t like that, and lump women into that assine thinking?

Ya, I'm pretty sure that defeats the point of getting married in the first place. No wonder divorce rates are so high. Anyways, ya, that is quite a problem you've got there. Hopefully she understands how bad it got and nothing like this will happen again. Good luck man.

thw two most important points have not been brought up, ironically:

* WHICH's salary ? HERS or YOURS ? If hers....i'd better STFU

* it's hard to believe she did it deliberately, knowing the checks will bounce and knowing about the NSF...gimme a break !!

What is with all that stupid divorce talk - what if she was not aware that the account was overdrawn ?

* also...you/we dont even know what she bought..maybe it was only minor everyday purchases or wahtsoever ? Nothing against it *IF* she was assuming there is still plenty left on the account.

* also..in my opinion writing checks just contributes to *** like this...would'nt use a debit/check card just have DENIED her the charge in advance ?

With a check she can write any amount she want and then get the surprise LATER.
