You've admitted in the past that you've spent time in jail. Please confirm whether that past statement was true or not. Secondly, describe how you got there. While you claim that I don't understand it, that's true only to a certain extent. For instance I know you didn't get there by being a good citizen.

I took a job that puts me away from my wife for about 4 months (but home on weekends and the money is about 3x the previous job). Its only been a week and I miss her like crazy.

It's kinda depressing being away, but it does reaffirm how important she is to me. So I think if this is whats best for both of you long-term then it's worth the sacrifice. Plus it does make you appreciate your time together even more.

I understand what you are going through...I have to leave my wife/home/child for months at a time for work. Get webcams, they are a lifesaver, at least for me to see my wife/daughter. I agree, that you can catch up with old friends, but trust me, that wears off after a couple of months. As long as you can get to see her at least once a month(seems to be my wife and mines limit, but we have done longer with strain) all will be ok.

Currently I am working in China, been here for 3.5 weeks, with a trip home scheduled for next week.
