Get a gtx 1060 and give her my gtx 970?

The 1060 is an upgrade over the 970, but you might as well just get a GTX 1070 and give her the 970. I too have a 970 and the only real upgrade to that is a 1070. And she'll get a huge upgrade coming from an old 7770!

Right on, you'll both be getting upgrades. Just make sure to get a good GTX 1060 6GB card with a dual-fan setup.

Had to jump on it

Was replaced in a workstation that needed a card with HDMI and display ports only. A AMD 7750 lol

So I emailed the boss saying I want it for the wife and came back $60 and it's yours
