Of cource that is hard to believe, but it is in fact the truth. He has skewed the message so it isn't even what I origionally wrote. It is sad that he
knew he could play off all your sympathies and so altered the letter.

In my origional email, I merely stated a few things about how I fondly remembered our previous friendship (NOTHING over the top!), and if she
needed a friend to help her with her current relationship problems I would be willing to be there for her. XCLAN has completely fabricated this email.
Great is his lie. I did in fact call once, AT HER REQUEST. He is the one who needs to be commited to the hospital for clinical jelousy.

Either this is a parody thread or things are gonna be getting deep around here.. in either case I need popcorn!

There's nothing without trust imo. Whats important is that both sides acknowledge the issues and work towards restoring trust. If someone's lied maliciously and they don't give a darn about how it hurt their spouse and the destructiveness that it has, and is unwilling to show sensitivity and try to change their ways, you have a very serious problem.

The concept of dealing with relationships via emails is a joke. If you (hypothetical "you") have something important to say to someone you really care for, don't write it in an email. Breakups over email are just as laughable.

That's all I have to say... other than good luck with your situation.

EDIT>>> If what datalink is saying is true, a simple "I'm here for you if you need me" is fine through email... not that anyone really cares what I think.

I also have a confession to make. I am XCLAN's wife.

When I got an e-mail from datalink7, my rabid female jealousy suddenly took hold and I edited, then faked the headers and re-sent the e-mail to myself for my hubbie to find. It's not my fault, I can't stand this anymore. XCLAN never takes showers. And when he does, instead of using a towel he uses a terrycloth bathrobe to put on and rub himself down with. He never washes the robe.

I are distressed.

My thoughts from particular quotes:
I wanted to drop you a line and see if you had received my picture. Did your wife send him a recent picture of herself? Did you see the picture he is implying about?

we haven't talked in a long time Do you know how long it has been since your wife has been in contact with this guy? I mean, "a long time" like 7 years, or "a long time" like 5 months?

I love not just physical things about you, but you as a person also. He is telling her that he loves her. Point blank.

I would kill to be able to go back and not have lost you Grounds for a restraining order. Did he mean it? Probably not. Can you feel threatened by it? You betcha.

I would love to be able to be with you for just one day...to be near you, to see you, and to smell you. Another reason to feel threatened. He might try an abduction.

my wife called it to my attention Good for her. But on the same note, be careful with this. If your wife is a malicious liar, she may just be bringing this to your attention as a factual happening, just for the simple task of giving her something tangible to lie about in the future.

he is whining sayin i shouldnt be reading his private emails and it isnt my business.... You need to set this guy straight. . . and quick. None of your business?!?!! WTF? He is telling your wife that he still loves her, wants to be with her, and would kill for it. Maybe you should remind him exactly what is was that he wrote.

You live in Cali? There are several laws regarding stalking and harrassing, I suggest you look into them.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

Edit: WTH? Datalink7 is the stalker? Why would someone change. . . ah nevermind.

It would perhaps be best if I gave a bit more of my side of the story. (oh, and btw... I DO use paragraphs as is obvious here
))

Proof will of cource be nearly impossible to come by, seeing as how this is a public message board. I'll leave it up to you to make the right decisions.

Where to begin...I should probably mention my previous relationship. It is true that I broke with my wife. The time was out on our relationship clock.
Now it is neccesary to note that it was NOT a bad breakup(as XCLAN would have you think). She did not leave me...the break up was totally steller,
jovial and mutual. In fact, we are still on speaking terms. Everything between her and me is completely coo.

Of cource, I naturally thought about my previous relationships with other women when I broke up. But that means nothing. I have absolutely NO
other intentions on Elizabeth other than to be a friend. In fact, everything was going good before her husband comes charging in like some newb.

All in all
little can be known
less to lose.

This is neither the time nor the forum to talk about our lesbianic tendencies. (Is lesbianic a word? It sounds like the sister ship to the Titanic)

If datalink7 and XCLAN are telling the truth (for the most part), this has to be one of the weirdest threads I've ever come across on ATOT.

Peace,
