Due out February 12, the Wii Play game comes with a Wii Remote...this seems like a hot deal, especially with the remote still out of stock most everywhere I've seen.

seems to still be around guys, it was acting crazy for me...the first time i got to the order page and then it told me it was no longer available so I refreshed the product page and it said it wasn't available. I just tried a few minutes ago and it's back up for pre-order so it's all good now.

How is it a dead deal? It's a pre-order...

Well when an amazin pre-order shows as no longer available and doesn't let you pre-order, that would make it dead...they must have added stock or been changing something around the first time I tried because it is working now

Not sure where you're getting that from. It's gotten pretty good reviews from where its already been released. Including here:

Actually in the newest EGM it also received bad reviews. I've seen various places with poor reviews of this game. Although similar to wii sports, they say you'll only be playing one or two games more than a few times...

Baseball rocks. Boxing can be fun, especially if you're watching a couple drunk people flailing around in the air.

Who cares about reviews for something like this...if you don't like it, think of Wii Play as a freebie that comes with a remote. If you do like it, think of it as getting a free remote with the game!

anyone know if Wii Play will be released on its own? I already have 4 remotes, don't need another one. Around here remotes and nunchuks are easy to come by; wiis not.

I like the golf, hate the boxing. My mii looks like he's having an epileptic fit in the boxing matches.

I'm nearly a 3K points in boxing and am starting to take a liking to golf since i face nobody but the same 2 in tennis since i got to 2K
I dont like baseball...my timing on that i just cant get down.
i would say bowling and baseball are the two overlooked but thats just my style
i wish i could find wiimotes or nunchucks around here...every morning/noon/night i go into any stores around here they have non whatsoever. Whenever they get them guys say they go in about an hour.

That was the review I read that said it was horrible. But I guess you're right. For $8 and change, how terrible can it be?
