I have to be missing something here or maybe the person who made that is a complete idiot but Zelda is a girl...

I don't think the people who made that actually knew that Link, the hero in the tunic, wasn't called Zelda. Or it's just a joke, you know like how people assume the legend is about the hero who is Link but people think his name is Zelda.

Hot dog, we have a wiener. It's one of the oldest jokes among Nintendo fans. Outsiders to the series just assume that Zelda is the guy in the green dress, because why wouldn't he be. Most games, movies, and TV shows are named after their protagonist. The first game doesn't do a great job explaining it either, if you didn't bother to read the manual or read the opening blurb.

Another short look at the next Zelda. It's nifty how the horse can kind of auto-pilot and the world definitely seems pretty big at least. I just hope it doesn't exchange a well-driven story ifor "sandboxiness", that approach has never been very compelling to me.

Dude, the Wii U has been out for a while now. Of course the Wii isnt getting any brand new titles. At least not from the major franchises. I'm still waiting for a new Metroid.



I will be happy if this game has more land and less water. I got sick of sailing around, even with a map. An open world is only fun if theres stuff in it to explore. Thats why Elder Scrolls 2 sucks and Elder Scrolls 3 rules.

I'm not sure you said what you think you said. TES2: Daggerfall --> TES3:Morrowind. There was more stuff to explore in Daggerfall. Just saying.

I'm assuming you mean Oblivion vs Skyrim?

Nope. I loved Wind Waker. NOTHING better than sailing the seas. Gives my heart the flutters. Exploring the sea for new places was so much fun. I dunno how the latest ones have been (twilight princess/skyward sword?). I have only played with my settigns on Dolphin Emulator, haven't yet started them in full force. Finally got SMG2 done and running at 6x ir (up from 3x ir) so if I can get those 2 games working the way i want I'll play them next. Wii U's graphics have been enough for me to enjoy though. Smash looked great to me.
My cousin got a wii u for her 5 year old (rather I convinced her to get it), and I'bve been playing the new smash. Now I need a WIi u for myself!

I never played skyward sword but I was one of the few people in my circle that enjoyed twilight princess. I still need to actually play WWHD it's been sitting on my wii u since I bought the bundle lol.

really wish nintendo would just become a 3rd party game developer. i know it will never happen though. i can only imagine how awesome a zelda game would look and be on ps4 or xbox1. i'm not a fan at all of these cell shaded graphics anymore.

Sounds like a release date will be announced in June.
