Hey guys, got a quick question after lurking here for awhile
I've got a fairly older system and was specifically looking to get a 6800gs for it, but am not sure if its worth it for my system. Here's my specs:
Dell Dimension 8200 P4 2.24 ghz
1gb RDRAM
250gb HD, 80gb HD
DVD-R/W. DVD-Rom
GeForce Ti4200 AGP
I've read some people that are happy with it in their system, but others say its not worth it, so I'm not sure. I ask b/c I saw one of the cheap 6800s at Circuit City, but it was only 128 and regular DDR.
I don't think I'll be able to OC it as with the default Dell PSU I'm probably bringing it to its edge already. Also probably can't take the heat.
This has been more of an issue recently for me as I want to play Oblivion, heh.
So, anyone have any recommendations? Thanks a lot for your time guys!
