Alright guys, it's about time to upgrade my PC. For the majority of my PC use, it is for gaming, so that is going to be the goal for this upgrade. Here are my current specs:
mobo: Gigabyte H81M-S2PV
cpu: i5-4570 @ 3.2 ghz
ram: 8 GBs of DDR3 1600 (4 GBs ea)
I've had this PSU for about 4 years: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027
GPU is an AMD 7950.
Right now I game at 1920x1080, but wouldn't mind having the option for higher resolutions in the future.
I'm looking to spend around $300 USD give or take to upgrade my GPU, I'm just curious if this is the right move with my other specs not being too impressive. So what this boils down to is, will a GPU upgrade become a large bottleneck?
