Hmmm...

USA--->Iraq/Afghanistan/Iran, etc etc

Israel ---> Palestine

North Korea ---> whoever wants a piece

Anyone else wanna add to the list?

Where do you think our world will be in 20 years if this continues?

NK will be a non-issue in a few months. Either they'll back down or they'll turn into a puff of smoke and some pink mist.

You're right TrippleAAA, the world is ending! Assign all your worldly goods to me and I'll make your last days lavish.

People love to think that the time they live in is the worst it's ever been, and long for the "good old days." I happen to think it's largely BS. There have been plenty of sh!tty times in World History and the world today is certainly better off than any number of other times.

Nope, because the fact that people draw this conclusion based on relatively few issues (lets say 3 just for fun) and have short memories in regards to world events definitely means that things have never been worse than they are right now.

The ability to kill large sums of people is much greater than it was in ancient times though. It's a little more difficult to kill people with a rock or sharpened stick versus a laser guided missile.

I'd disagree. Look at Nagasaki and Hiroshima, for example. But it depends on what you consider ancient times.

Wow... Nobody was asking this question 20 years ago.

20 years ago it was...

USA ---> USSR

Israel ---> Palestine (You can play that one back to the beginning of time)

AIDS ---> The whole planet

20 years from now... who knows. You could say that NK will implode but people have been saying that about Cuba for decades. Speaking of Cuba... Castro will be gone. I predict Cuba will be just another Carribbean vacation destination. So there's something to look forward to.

Yes, but you had things such as The Black Death kill between 1/3 and 2/3 of Europe.

is the hatred getting worse or is the hatred being reported more and more diligently therefore creating a sense of more hatred?

Khan razed cities to the ground just to prove his point. The Romans used biological warfare to weaken their enemies. And this was thousands of years ago.
