Yes, the general consensus is the Georgia DA and the special counsel are wrapping up their investigations.

It is POSSIBLE that he won’t be indicted but no objective person rationally evaluating the available evidence would think that’s the likely outcome. I mean the forewoman for the Georgia special grand jury all but straight out said they recommended Trump for indictment.
How long have we heard this?

Donald Trump Indictment Could Be 'Imminent' (newsweek.com)

Trump indictment now 'inevitable' according to legal experts (wgbh.org)

First - lol @ Newsweek. (it ceased being a legitimate publication several years ago.)

Second, that's from a month ago!

Third, that's not from anyone with actual legal expertise.

Says who? LMAO Its all fabricated then? Are you claiming that? Yes or no.

We'll see I guess

Says everyone. Newsweek used to be a reputable publication until it was sold in the mid 2010s and turned into a content mill/click farm. The magazine we all remember no longer exists and the current one has zero standards.

Regardless, Trump sure seems to think he’s going to be indicted from the way he’s acting.

Doesnt he have to be charged first?

unfortunately, "indicted" doesn't mean "convicted."

Which none of us are confusing. Most know charges will be filed for the documents case. But yeah one loyal MAGAtard to hang the jury

We see a lot of this when it comes to Trump.
They do all their homework, get right up to pulling the trigger, then they don't.
About the only real worries Donald Trump has had is with the voters, they refused to reelect him. Nothing Trump could do about that, but he tried.... OH BOY did he try.

Pelosi did her impeachment thing but she knew it would never stick. They knew from day one that Trump would never be removed. They knew the senate would never convict. It was all about humiliation and embarrassment and that's all that really mattered.

This is about as far as it has gone. Threats, promises, witnesses, hearings, more witnesses, video recordings, audio recordings, etc etc yet guess who's still walking around free as a bird and guess who's still running for president, again!

I chalk this up to the syndrome of the good ole boys club. In a way, they're all part of the club the club of the rich and powerful be it politically or position or face time on tv. But still, they just can't quite hold one of their own accountable. That's why Trump himself chanted lock her up lock her up, but Trump knew even as president that he would never lock Hillary up. They just never do that to each other, and they will never bring the hammer down on Donald Trump regardless. Oh they'll come close but let's face it, Donald Trump has a very good chance of becoming the next president. The game plan when it comes to club members is only to humiliate and embarrass, but never to destroy. Its a club thing....

The likely question isn't if Trump is going to be indicted this year but in how many venues.

Would it make more sense for the various states to drop these at the same time to just overwhelm his defense? Or is it better to stagger them out?

Yea but this is the least interesting of the many potential criminal charges for two reasons: first conviction will be rather difficult given the nature of the crime and even if convicted the penalty will be minor given the crime itself is a minor felony. I rather see him indicted for some of these: tax invasion (both state and federal); attempt to turn over the election in georgia (including fake electors); the riot on jan 6; intentionally retaining classified documents; ... these are much easier crimes to obtain a conviction and all of these crimes have more serious penalties if convicted.

True but I would still be amused if Trump goes down over his mushroom dick.

I would think dropping them all at once, so he has to find multiple lawyers would be the best option.

Flood the zone!!!

I wonder how he is going to find lawyers willing to lie for him that may not get paid?
