Methinks indicting Trump got a whole lot easier after the dam busted open with the documents and hush money payoff ones. Chickens finally coming home to roost and I can just imagine how many other crimes he's committed that'll lead to even more indictments down the road. It seems the more inconsequential he becomes as far leading the party's cult base, the more he'll be likely to suffer a barrage of indictments the he surely deserves. It seems the only thing that can save his ass from being thrown behind bars is a miraculous presidential win by the MAGA's sometime in the near future.
Smoking guns everywhere but I am still extremely concerned about getting an impartial jury. A lot of MAGA folks seem to still believe they are playing a movie role in a giant conspiracy against their fearless leader. Completely disconnected from reality and will never vote guilty.

, and the new wild card.... the NO LABELS PARTY.
Republicans are quite shrewd. When they know they can't win legitimately they develop a new way to win. This time its the old split the vote wild card. And, they're only hope to get Donald Trump reelect. And in case no one has noticed, they are well on their way. They can't win legitimately but there are other ways to win. And republicans know all of the other ways because they use them all the time.
Yup they don’t release their donor list. Has to be filled with corporate money. Same for RFK jr. Apparently all his big donors, conveniently this is their first time donating to a Dem. Last 2 were obviously for the orange monkey.

Unfortunately Cornel West won’t help the matter. He keeps insisting he’s targeting the ones that never vote. So he’s not stealing votes from the left.

You know how it is, you get one democrat in there and it ruins it for everyone. They keep bringing up 'facts' and 'reality' and soon your entire echo chamber collapses.
Yea i guess no one cares that he was out numbered 9 to 1..... whatever.

When I used to play Hot & Cold with one of my exes, I asked her to let me know when I got warmer. Damn woman never let me know when I'm warmer. All I heard was a bunch of moaning and screaming. I expect no less from Trump.

I think we have seen some guilty verdicts in the past on Trump buddies where they were convicted by conservatives on a jury. I hope I'm not drunk on the smell so somebody else's cork, but that is what I believe I have heard. People seem to consider the evidence, or so I've been told.

Trump buddies are not Trump. There is only one Holy One. I share this concern. You have to hope the juror screenings can weed out the zealots.

I hope Fani Willis, Jack Smith, Judge Chutkan and to a lesser extent Mike Pence (because he's a witness) have some good security. While most of the suburban irregulars are a joke that don't want to risk their own necks to be a "patriot' (not after the shocking arrests of the Jan 6 morons, who knew that invading the Capitol would be seen as a crime?!?) there are definitely some dangerous deluded traitorous fools out there.

You would think that if Trump can be president and be in jail, he should be able to campaign from there as well, with a few minute delay to be sure any threats he makes be edited out of any speaches he wants to make.

I don't know about that. I was just commenting on the fact that he has already tried to stir up his zealots against these people and I expect much more of that to come. If there *isn't* an attack on somebody I'll be a bit surprised.

I don't think inmates normally get access to the internet or have a way to broadcast speeches, do they? He's a private citizen right now and if the judge deems it time to haul his non-conforming ass to jail, I expect we won't hear anything more from him other than statements from his lawyers. And cue the "Dark Brandon killed Trump!!!!" conspiracies.

If he's elected President from jail--and as stupid as that sounds, it's not impossible considering this is America--then he'll of course pardon himself. Then it will be up to others whether they follow that order or not. Obviously that is uncharted ground.

I wouldn't think he'd need secret service protection in jail either. I mean it is voluntary after all, he can chose not to have them. I'd love to hear about him getting a little American History X action while in the slammer hehe.

Fine with me put the ss agents in jail with him. I want him to ignore a DC judge order and be put in jail for contempt.

From what I have read next week is the most likely time but who knows. I would bet large sums of money he will be indicted by Willis though.

I think they hate Joe Biden because Fox News tells them to hate him 365 days a year twice a day or is it three times a day ?
Just for those who wonder I'm not saying Biden is the best president ever but i personally think he has been decent. The withdrawl from Af; is something i've debated for a while given a number of factors - the execution was of course problematic but that is not directly Biden's fault just the decision to exit. The other big thing one can debate is the decision to support Ukraine. There is no doubt had (for example) Trump supported Russia the economy would have done better and that has a direct emotional impact on people. One has to actually think about it for a while if the economic sacrifice is worth the various reasons to support Ukraine - mind you in that sentence i never expressed my opinion on the matter i just raised the trade offs. As to the impact (beyond economics) of supporting Russia over Ukraine one can only speculate.

Having said that above I would never support a corrupt scumbag person as president and Donald Trump was a corrupt scumbag 40 years preceding his entry into politics; it just started slowly and spread like a disease as he become more bold at being a corrupt scumbag over the years.

I'm not sure that statement is really supported. All that equipment we are giving to Ukraine is a boost to the economy. Lots of industries are making huge bank building equipment for that war and that in turn boosts local economies. How would supporting Russia have improved our economy?
