I hope she retires. She passed herself as the better option than Sanders because she thought she was more likely to win. If anything it is the inverse, she did not have a fraction of the enthusiasm among the base that Sanders had. Sanders would not have lost the rust belt. Sanders would have got the blue collars out in droves, 5am in the morning, car pooling friends and family and coworkers and standing in line in the cold for hours to hand him their votes. Ain't nobody was fucking doing that for Hillary Clinton.

Romney told his base that he was their best choice for nominee for the same reason as Clinton. Look where that got them.

If going by the popular vote then the majority of the people wanted hillary. But yea, there's no coming back from this. This was her one last chance. And she's going to be what, 74 by then?

I actually liked Romney, but yeah, it is funny how primaries tend to elect candidates virtually no one likes because they are supposedly electable.
