I have never worried about heat management before or done much about it. I don?t have Riva or Ntune (pr whatever) fan management or Everest heat tracking software. I have the three stock fans in my Antec P180 at normal speeds. However, I took the fan out of the PSU compartment (wouldn?t fit with the Zalman) and put it in the front drive bay blowing on to the GPU. The Fan at the top of the back wall and the one at the back of the top wall blow out.
Ideally, I just want to leave my machine as is and do nothing. So far, it has worked well for a week. But I haven?t gamed for more than 3 hours at a time. Do you think I can keep on doing nothing? Or with a 9800Gx2 do I really need to worry about heat?
I have no overclocks of any kind.
