Will I run into problems?

I recently bought a case and power supply at comUSA because I didn't want to wait for Newegg to ship the items.
I'm planning to buy the same items at Newegg now and then return the same items to compUSA and get a refund.
This way I'm going to save about $60.00 which is the diffence in price afte tax and shipping.

My question is will I run into any problems with the product code not matching or anything similiar problem?
I have the recepts for both items. I'm just worried if I order them and can't return them to compUSA I'll be stuck with these goods.

Not sure about CompUSA's return policy, but it appears you posted this on the wrong forum.

Worst case senario you have to send the stuff back to newegg. Just check the boxes and make sure they match up. BTW which case did you get?

lol i love it when people POST how they are going to try and commit fraud on a company (and yes returning something that isn't what you bought is fraud)

Being impatient, last I check, is not part of their return policy.

Technically speaking, it's fraud. Now whether the involed parties would care, that's probably different. I hope to God FedEx does a number on your box so that the box is in non-returnable condition. That will teach you to be an ass.

Same box, same case, same power supply, same manufacturer, same same same same same....

If compUSA had a price match guaranty I wouldn't have to give them another Box.

If had had gone to 2 different stores and bought the same Items on the same day and went back to return the items (unopened) but I forgot which place I bought each identical item would I be committing fraud by returning the same item to a different store?

The ONLY reason I'm doing it this way is because I threw the box out for the case I bought.

i understand what you are doing and although in the end it doesnt really hurt anyone because the items are still brand new, it still is fraud.

also keep in mind that some stores also scan the serial numbers so newegg and compusa might have different batch of numbers, thats if they even check them in the end.

I believe if the SKU's on the matching items are the same, then you would be able to return the item with no hassle, granted they are unopened.

Many items you order online, even if they are in the retail packaging, do not have shrink wrap on them, when instore items do.

CompUSA charges a 15% restocking fee on all open items, unless they are defective. If defective, you can return them for the same item or for a refund. But if the SKU's don't match, I think you will be in trouble.
