I installed a Marvell 61XX SATA driver for my new build. I did not realize it was a RAID controller driver.
I do not have a RAID set-up or ACHI. Will that driver installation cause a problem?
After I installed that driver, I noticed two devices, in my Device Manager under Storage Devices That I do not think were there before but I am not positive they were not:
?(1) Marvell 61XX RAID Controller
?(2) Microsoft iSCSI Initiator
Will any of this cause a problem for a non-RAID, non-AHCI system?
Should I uninstall it and do use System Restore to go back to the point before installing it?
Also, now my Windows update offers an optional update, Marvell Inc. - Storage - Marvell Virtual Device. Should I install that?
