Will it be easy to transition to a Deathadder from a G5?

been using the same design since mx500. Kinda want to try something new and I hear Deathadder is good for palm users? I have really small hands. Would it be easy to get use to the Deathadder and how long have the updated 3500 DPI version been out?

It's an individual thing. I tried to switch to the Razer mouse shape from the mx518 and my pinky started cramping. I have friends who switched and love it, others who tried to switch from Razer to Logitech and went back, etc. Try to get to a Best Buy or Frys and test it for yourself before buying.

It's different at first, but its an easier transition than to a Diamondback or a Lachesis. Personally the mx500 shape is one of the best ergonomic right hand grips for mice out, but I use a Deathadder 3500 because I like the tracking better.

Went to bestbuys and they had the old deathadder on display. the mouse actually fits me better because i have small hands. I always have to sorta turn the g5 slightly to the left a bit on my hand so i can hold onto the thumb buttons (I use it to sprint in cod4). After years of using a mx500 shaped mouse, I've gotten use to doing that and never rested my hand on it like it was shaped to do. For the Deathadder, I can rest my hand on it and use both buttons easily and it just feels easier. I think I'm going to try it and see how I do. Thanks.

I just got it today and it is shaped perfectly for me. I mean I just put my hand on top of it and there feels like there's no adjustment period. Everything is in the right place and just feels great for every finger. There isn't a spot where I go "why is that there?" I'm really happy I purchased this. I really bought the mouse for the higher DPI but this is the first time I actually used a mouse that "fits" me. I guess that's why people say that's the most important factor. Love this mouse

I use a G5 at work and a Deathadder at home and I like the Deathadder far more.
